IN•KOM Südwest joins EXPO REAL for the 6th time

30.09.2011 For the 6th time the association of communes called IN•KOM Südwest joins the booth of Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i) at the EXPO REAL. The industrial and business park of Zimmern o.R. and Rottweil presents its industrial sites situated directly on the A81 autobahn. The industrial zone belongs to the largest ones south of Stuttgart. In addition to advantages in terms of size and access, the business environment becomes more and more a considerable fact and even attracts more companies.

Meanwhile more than a dozen companies have been established in IN•KOM Südwest. Even during the economic crisis the persons in charge of IN•KOM Südwest managed to dispose of some lots of land. This can also be seen as evidence for the structural soundness of the owner-managed companies in the winners´ region Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg.

It became obvious that sticking to the Masterplan was the right policy so far. From the beginning, the persons in charge of IN•KOM Südwest focused on the promotion and development of specific industries (clusters). These include precision engineering, machinery, manufacture and processing of plastics and logistics.

In order to continue implementing the Masterplan and its mix of industries, the persons in charge at the EXPO REAL above all aim at establishing contacts with real estate brokers, consultants and developers in the fields of industry and logistics.
